We went to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, to do some sightseeing,
shopping (of course!) and visit the Estonian Kennel Club's
International Show.
Luckily, we decided to take the boat one day early, already
on the Thursday.
Due to a gruesome storm over the sea, we all became badly
seasick and on the Friday, we all, dogs and humans, walked
with "sealegs" (wobbled and swayed to and fro)!
No dogs would have won with these movements and
no handlers would have been able to run in the ring!
We used our extra-day trying to regain our confident strides
on
the streets in the old town of Tallinn.
Don't miss the schnauzer in the lower left corner!
Gunilla and Caper are being cultural!
Ice sculptures in the Old Town.

After a nice sleep in the hotel,
we were ready to enter Saturday's show.
Jack, Ch
Centara Outback Jack, became best male, won the CAC, the
Cacib
and became Estonian Champion!
Caper, Ch
von Roth's Fanfare, was as successful!
She became best female, won the CAC, the Cacib and became
Estonian Champion!
They met in the Best of Breed / Best in Opposite Sex
competion.
The judge Ann-Marie Thomassen decided to
put "Caper" as Best of Breed and "Jack"
as Best in Opposite Sex.
It's sometime embarrassing to be around Caper and Jack days
like these.
It's almost impossible to make them stop their mumbling "veni,
vidi, vici"...
Our dogs were not the only "Swedish" dogs
who got their Estonian championship this day.
Five new Estonian Champions!
Dragongårdens Beautiful Beatrice, Ch Grizzly von Dreiburgenland
Ch Hassanhill's Kiss Me Kate
Ch Centara Outback Jack, Ch von Roth's Fanfare.
We took the boat home during the Sunday - and yes -
we had a storm on this voyage too!
Never cross the Baltic Sea in February!
