Kennel Argenta - Schnauzer Pepper & Salt

Argenta's Photoalbum

March - April 2007

April 21th
Wästmanlands Kennel Club's National Show

Caroline and Birgitta went to this show together. Caroline were showing the dogs and Birgitta were supporting outside the ring. This were the first show Caroline were
doing all by her self (that means there were no other "Argentor"
but there were plenty of wonderful puppy owners and other friends).

As the light inside this sportarena wasn't the best
we only have some few good photos.

Caroline and Junior Worldwinner'06 Argenta's Yoline.
Yoline were in the end fourth best female.

Caroline and "Jack" Ch Centara Outback Jack won the Best Of Breed over
Ch VV Dandy's Dot Com. Her together with the judge Dodo Sandahl.

Jack also won the Best Of Breed Veteran. In the finale ring Caroline and Jack were cut both in Group 2 and in the Veteran Group and were amnong the 10 best in each group. Well done Caroline.

We got a nice letter from Judy Housekeeper and a great photo of
Ch Argenta's Pella Petronella's son Korppret's Cheaper By The DZ
that has been doing some very nice wins lately.

Thank you Judy

We have also got a nice letter from Vaasa in Finland and from
Ch Doctor Order's Guts'n Gravity's owner Helena.

She told us that "Elmo" the son of Ch Argenta's Emmett won the Best male Class and the CACIB on the Int FKK show. Congratulation!

April 13-15 th
Lidingö Workindog Club, Stockholm
and SSPK's first education of mentality persons on level B.

Caroline were lucky that she had the chance to do this education. From Friday afternoon to late evening, from early morning to late evening both Saturday and Sunday Caroline came home with her head full of information. She had a great weekend together with the rest doing this education. Yvonne gave me the permission to use some of the photos from the weekend and you can really see how fun they had pretending being dogs going thru the test.

This are the first mentality persons that have been educated by SSPK

Building the test for loud sounds

Caroline "the dog checking" were the sound came from

Caroline "the dog" trying to get the toy from David "the test person"

Caroline won the toy

We got another letter from South Africa and Lise Holloway.
She sent us a photo of
Argenta's Asta Aurora and her young owner Nina Holloway when they were graduating from Obedience One.
Thank you Lise for this wonderful photo.

As we alsways had said Schnauzers and children are doing great together.
It doesn't matter if you live in Europe, America or Africa :-)

April 8
Stockholm Kennel Club's International Show

As this show is in our "backyard" we have to be there.
The worldwinner show in 2008 will be at the same showground so we will have a very close world show to go to :-) compared to Poland, Germany, Finland etc.

This was Argenta's Zaerskild's first official show.
He won the juniorclass and behaved very well

His sister Argenta's Zaffron was also behaving well in the ring considering this was also her first official show. But outside the ring she is wild...

It wasn't the first show for our Jack but it was the first show since he came back to Sweden in January.

Ch Centara Outback Jack won the Best of Breed Veteran and
he was also second best male

We had a Breeders Group that won and was the Best Breeders Group.
In the Breed ring Yvonne could'n manage to show Imelda
so we kept it in the family and our good handler Gabriella helped us.

From left Boel and Zaerskild, Gunilla and Imelda, Gabriella and Jezebel and Caroline with Yoline. Four combinations from 10 month to veterans.

In the final ring Yvonne was back (she had been showing her minis.)

Thank you Odd for the nice photos of the group

usa

In the end of March and beginning of April

Susanne Lundberg (Kennel Caudatus) and Boel went to USA for a week.
The purpose of this trip was to have a vaccation. Susanne after having had her second litter out of Ch Argenta's Qayenne and Boel had to have a short rest from the babyboom in Stockholm.
The beginning and end of this trip was far away from being a relaxing trip.

As the plane started from Stockholm 20 min. delayed and as it had to do an emergency landing in Germany, Boel and Susanne missed the connection flight to Washington. But we thought (how silly of us) that we would be priority on the next flight. But that wasn't the "policy" of the the company we flew with. So the result was two days in Paris at the airport Charles de Gaulle (we had the chance to see some of Paris Thursday afternoon). Friday morning the employee of the company missed to tell us that we were booked at the morning flight to Washington. So Friday afternoon in the line at the gate. Boel and Susanne realized that they had no tickets on the afternoon flight as we were supposed to go on the morning flight. After many discussions (we had plenty of that during the two days in Paris) we could board the plane to Washington. When we arrived we had missed the opportunity to visit with Georgia and Jean kennel Asgard and then drive to the dogshow in Pittsburgh. Poor Linda had to drive the whole way from Pennsylvania, Washington and back to Pennsylvania in one afternoon/evening. A trip of more than 6 hours.

Anyway when we were in USA we had a great time and Susanne are now very close to the black belt in shopping. Hard to believe for people that had been with her shopping before but it is true.
The only thing that wasn't giving her the black belt was that she didn't had an extra suitcase with her, this time. On the way back home to Sweden we continued as we started with an extra day on Charles de Gaulle due to a late arrivel in Paris Wednesday morning so that we missed the connection flight to Stockholm. Is there any one that had seen the movie
The Terminal with Tom Hanks? That was how we felt during our three days at the airport.
But here are some photos.

Our first day at Charles de Gaulle we are still in a good mood.

As we could'nt stay at the airport the whole time so we went in to Paris to do some sightseeing.
We saw Notredame.

Susanne tried to find the Louvren.

We found it

after a long walk. We went in to meet Mona Lisa.

In the evening at the hotel Susanne and Boel were sharing their favourite hobby -
eating pastries.

Saturday morning Linda, Boel and Susanne went to the specialty show in Pittsburgh. The plan from the beginning were to go to the show together with Georgia and Jean so that we would have some more time together.

We were lucky to see Ch Argenta's Zoe Zezannah winning
Veteran Sweepstakes at the age of 12.

Ch Argenta's Zoe Zezannah with the judge Leona Mintz, owner Georgia Sabean and Jean Gillen and a proud breeder Boel

We had a great time together with Linda and Bob.
We were playing with the puppies.

Kennel Centara's DD-litter

One of the pups in the puppy yard

there is a big diffence with cropped ears and docked tail.

we also met Argenta's Zeck Zentara he is a lovely male

Argenta's Zeck Zentara 10 month old.

Susanne after some days shopping trying to get everything into her suitcase. Boel didn't had that problem as she had an extra suitcase.
When unpacking at home giving the gifts to the family Boel found Susanne's dirty clothes and extra shoes in her suitcase.

At Charles de Gaulle on our way back home. On this photo we still believe that we will get an early plane back to Sweden. We didn't........

We got this lovely photo from the "Bergaschnauzrar".

They are all living as neighbours in Åkersberga outside Stockholm.
From left "Zebbe"
Argenta's Zaerskild, Griff, "Zack" Argenta's Qarlton and
Lisa the only female.

Zack thinking about life.

We also got a nice photo from Sara and Tamsin.

Sara showing Argenta's Yackson at the SKK Int show in Gothenburg.
