Kennel Argenta - Schnauzer Pepper & Salt

Argenta's Photoalbum

Washington, October 2003

Part three

After having been on herding, three dogshows and a lots of other "dogstuff", it was nice to spend some days in peace and quiet together with Georgia and Jean, kennel Asgard. Well, perhaps they didn't find it as calm as we did!

Linda Dobbie, Caroline, Boel and "Siri" outside the house.

Siri, Argenta's Sigrid Svensk, posing among the pumpkins

She just had to taste a real American pumpkin!

It's wonderful that Georgia and Jean wants to house us all!

Jean, Boel, Caroline and Birgitta

around the dinnertable.

We took time to take photos...

of Asgard Miller...

to talk...

and to walk!

Jean promised the girls, probably in a weak moment,
to teach them how to drive the golf car.

I think Jean didn't realize,
that after having spend considerable time on different speedgames,
both on their PCs and X-box,
Alexandra and Caroline was ready to "feel the speed"!

Alexandra took Caroline and Jean on a breathtaking tour
around the premises!

Caroline took it a bit slower...

Soon the girls explored the grounds by themselves!

Little Anna is truly very spoiled but that's understandable -
she's gorgeous!

If someone wonder why we brought such huge suitcases -
they don't know us very well!

We Argenta's are more than just breeders -
we all have black belts in shopping!

This photo is taken on our first shoppingtrip!
We made two more!

Even though each one of us had a big suitcase,
plus two additional big bags and Siri's empty crate -
it was hard to find space for everything we had bought.

But we have more skills than just shopping -
we are also very good in squeezing!

We were not the only Scandinavians visiting the SSCA's Schnauzerfest.

Pat and Bob White (kennel Halcyon)
housed Ulf Braathen, his wife Charlotte Staunskær and their sons Nicolai and Frederik (kennel Kannix, Denmark) together with Helle Jörgensen, (kennel Mohner, Denmark)
and Pia and Frida Andersson (Kennel Scarlight, Sweden).

We all had a very nice dinner one evening at Pat and Bob's house and
another day also went shopping together .

This photo is taken on the day we went home.

Frida, Pia, Ulf, Frederic, Boel, Caroline, Charlotte, Nicolai,
Birgitta, Helle, Pat, Gunilla, Georgia and Jean.

Almost the same crowd but now Gunilla is taking the photo
and Alexandra is standing between Pat and Georgia.

15 people, 6 kennels, 3 different countries!

During our trip we have met a lot of schnauzers, some sheep and one horse
but the most fantastic were Bob's lamas!

Isn't he a beauty?

They talked by rubbing their noses!

Caroline and Alexandra wondered if we could squezze in
one or two lamas in our suitcases!

We really had a wonderful vacation in Washington
and we are very grateful to all our friends who made our time "overthere" so nice!
Thank you all!
