The life together with our dogs are filled with joy and happy moments
but sometimes with deepest sorrow.
Last week we had to put our best friend to sleep and our grief is huge - almost unbearable.

Our sweet and charming Prissie, Ch Grunnert Caprice Geistvoll,
will always stay in our memories as our childrens best friend,
a loyal companion and a true delight in our lifes.
We will always miss her!

Prissie came to us from USA in 1989 and since then was the
teddy bear of our children, their nanny and best friend.
They learned how to walk with a hand dug into her coat and she was the first to comfort them if they fell.
The photo was taken in 1990, Caroline was 1,5 and Gabriella 2,5 years.

On this photo from 1992, "Prissie" and "Penny", Ch Asgard Penelope,
are babysitting the next pair of Argenta-children.
The cousins Christoffer and Alexandra are both born in 1991
so here they are 2 and 1,5 years old.
Prissie loved to be near them and we knew that with her around -
nothing would harm the children.

The four girls of the Garpas-family in 1999:
Gabriella, Alexandra, Prissie and the puppy Jezzie, Ch Argenta's Jezebel.

"Ozzy" won the CAC and became Swedish Champion!

August 9

On a warm and sunny day, "Prissie", Ch Grunnert Caprice Geistvoll , and
"Jezzie", Ch Argenta's Jezebel , decided to go to the sea...
They brought some biscuits, fresh water and their family.
Someone had to drive the car!

Jezzie really enjoyed the warm water and went for a swim,
exploring the reeds - you know, sometimes the birds are hiding in there!

Prissie, from almost 14,5 years of swim-experience,
told Jezzie that the best way to cool of, is to walk calmly near the shore.
(We who have known Prissie all her life, know that she has been one of the wildest schnauzers ever to have put their paws into the water!)

After they had cooled of, the dogs played hide and seek!
Did you know that schnauzers are almost impossible to detect among the stones and trees in the Swedish archipelago?!

Prissie pretending to be a root!
It's lucky for us that she kept her blue collar on!

Do you see Jezzie?
Her black nose is glistering in the sun...
