The Swedish Schnauzer Pinscher Club’s Show in Angelholm
|
“Caper”, “Jezzie”, Birgitta, “Viper” and Gunilla decided to take a “walkabout” in
the south of Sweden and the north of Denmark.

On our way down through Sweden, we made a rest at the beautiful castle Lovstads Slott. “Caper” is very firm in her belief that the finest dogwater is served on a genuine castle. (Like all Americans, she is very impressed by the old history of Europe!)We made our first stop in Angelholm where we of course visited a dogshow,
The Swedish Schnauzer Pinscher Club’s Show.
We met “Vega” (Argenta’s Rawenna) and her family.
It always feels like a treat to learn to know all our wonderful puppy owners.
What a nice way to get a bigger family!

Argenta’s Rawenna was shown in junior class.
Isn’t she a beauty?

“Caper” Ch von Roths Fanfare
became Best of Breed!

Ch von Roths Fanfare
also became
Best in Group 3!
Trips to dogshows are not complete without a cultural exploration!
This time the schnauzers brought us to Kullaberg, a nature reserve with lots of great sights. It’s situated by the Öresundskanalen which separates Sweden from Denmark.

Walking paths criss cross the whole of this magnificent reserve and Jezzie, Viper and Caper tried to persuade us to try them all! We humans kept a firm grip of the situation and gave them an hours walk which got us up to the lighthouse “Kullensfyr”.
What a nice spot to watch the sea!

The next day, we took the ferry to Denmark to visit
The Danish Kennel Club’s show in Helsingor. |
