Mikael and I started our vaccation in New York.
We walked up the 5th Avenue, down Broadway, Wall street, Brooklyn bridge and Central Park just to mention some places we saw and walked thru.
A view over NY from the Empire State Building
Central Park were we had lunch picnic one of the days.
Then we headed to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the show ground in New Castle.
Were we met all our friends. We stayed with Linda and Bob in their motorhome and in our “camp” were Georgia and Jean, Gail F, Woddy and Michelle were Joy stayed.
During the days we met Gail S and Gail M and all other people we know.
At the show ground and all the motorhomes, in the background some of the show rings.
It was nearly or over 100 Schnauzers entered at the shows.
There were a possibility to show the dog on 5 shows at the same showground.
Before entering the ring the dogs need to be groomed.
Here are Joy and Michelle outside Woddy’s and Michelle’s motorhome.
Linda and Zeck (Argenta’s Zeck Zentara)
preparing before one of the four show days.
We started with the herding. It is great to see how good our schnauzers are in herding.
Linda and Zeck tried for the first time and we wondered how Zeck should deal with the sheeps. He went into the barn and did a great job.
Zeck working, in the middle the judge.
Zeck made it and passed the Herding Instinct Test, well done.
We also had time to look at the minis.
A cute mini male.

Running
One of the days I had a chance to show Zeck.
Out of four shows Zeck were placed on three of them in a hard competition.
It is a special feeling to show Griffith’s son, a grand son to Eleonora.
Another girl out of Eleonora is her grand daughter
Ch Asgard Fawr Princess, nearly 14 years old
Princess won Best Veteran in Sweepstakes over much younger dogs
on of the days and came second the second day. Well done for such an old dog.
She is really still going strong, Mikael and Gail had to go and get her after she run away from the grooming table. Probably a handsome male in the neighbourhood!
Princess’s mother Eleonora’s daughter Ch Asgars-Argenta Dixie Diva is still among us 16 years old and we met her at the showground.
Princess, Mikael and our dear friend Gail F on their way back to the grooming table.
Veteran females at the National Specialty
Princess and Jean and behind a Ch Argenta’s Zoe Zesanna daughter
Ch Asgard Mythe Erste shown by her owner. She won one of th days.
It was amazing to see so many good dogs and to realize that so many of them have Argenta blood in their pedigrees closer or more far back.
